The Krista Johnson Memorial Run For Change is coming up on Sunday, June 12 at Riverside Park in Pembroke. Tied into the event this year is a fundraising raffle. Three prizes are up for grabs, namely a jogging stroller, a Devinci Rocket Junior Bike and a local golf package. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Elevate Youth Wellness Centre.

To buy tickets, message the run organizers on the Elevate Youth Wellness Centre Facebook page then let them know how many tickets you want and also which prizes you would like. Tickets are $5 each or three tickets for $10. E-transfer the money using the email address [email protected]. Tickets will also be available at the run itself for cash only sale.
Winners will be announced on June 12 at 11 a.m.
Keeping the good times rolling on run day, a lunch of pulled pork on a bun and coleslaw and hot dogs for the kids will be available.
The school challenge returns in this year’s event and by participating in this year’s run, students can help enter their school into a draw to win a donation of $500 to be used for physical activity supplies or equipment. For every five runners from the school who register and participate in the run, one ballot will be entered into the school challenge draw.
